Dr. Susanne Niwong received her dental degree from Karolinska Institute in Stockholm Sweden after which she continued her professional development through a clinical fellowship at the London Hospital in London, England. She then served as a research assistant special project at Baylor College in Dallas Texas. Dr. Niwong completed a specialty degree in orthodontics with honours at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto. She then served as a clinical fellow in the orthodontic department at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, where many patients have cleft lip and palate problems or craniofacial syndromes requiring special attention through early treatment and/or combined orthodontic and surgical corrections. Dr. Niwong has been in private practice in Toronto since 1994, treating both adults and children.
