I was born in Tanzania and moved to Canada in 1972. I completed the Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees at the University of Alberta. After graduating dental school in 1986, my wife Shenaz and I moved to Red Deer in 1987.

I’ve operated the dental clinic in Parkland Mall ever since. I’ve been a member of the Alberta Dental Association for 30 years. I enjoy multiple aspects of dentistry and love providing overall care to families.

My hobbies include extensive volunteer service in the local community. I’ve promoted improving general health as the Chairman of the Aga Khan Health Board for Canada for seven years and promoted dental skills and service delivery enhancement for dental clinics in the Aga Khan Health services network in East Africa.
